You don't understand how this thing works, but I'll teach you. Floyd gets money from all demographics, but especially whites and latinos. They pay with the hopes of seeing him lose and a few actually like the guy. African Americans support Floyd, but not so much the everyday African American fighter. African Americans are used to seeing athletic greatness so they don't get over excited just to see an athlete the same ethnicity as them like whites and other demos tend to do. So, to say he's serving the weakest demo is ignorance.
