Like any business, he only cares about the bottom line. If a million plus are buying, then why fight Pac/Canelo/Martinez or whoever else ppl want him to fight now. Once he does 600k buys, then you'll get the fights you want.

But in the WW division, nobody to fight. He already beat up JMM, the natural version, the Memo version won't do anything different. He isn't fighting Malignaggi, or Brook or god forbid Alexander. So its whatevs
It doesn't have to be welter. He's #1 ranked at 154 as he's happy to point out

Well anyone who would have been brave enough to fight these names every six months wouldnt be accused of cherry picking. I doubt JMM would step in the ring with margarito giving 201bs away fight night and be accused of having an easy no challenge fight, but for Pac that is what we are supposed to believe it was?

Floyd wouldnt have fought Margarito, regardless of whether Margarito was coming off of a win or loss anyway. And for the other oppenents to fight them all, hed need 5 years to beat DLH, SSS, Hatton and Clottey.
Whereas when Pac beats one.....its next opponent please line him up.

Yours truly is not one of those fools. I and a lot of people here who actually watch boxing stated over and over again that Canelo is legit as seen in his last fight.

That's not even a point. Money Mayweather picks his own fights, not fans. He picked a guy with three fans. He should stop calling himself Money. It's embarrassing.

Its an ok fight but I respect Guerrero, like what he represents and respect what he's accomplished.

He wanted this fight when he was at 135 and was laughed at. So he hopped 2 weight classes and beat Aydin to become Floyd's mandatory. Then Haymon saw an opportunity to get Berto back in the mix by feeding him what was thought to be an easy, undersized opponent. But Guerrero was having none of that and destroyed Berto.

Guerrero played by the rules of the WBC and did everything he had to do to land this fight. This opportunity wasn't handed to him he fought for it and earned it.

He belongs in that ring on Saturday.

Well the #2 and #3 just fought, so yeah, that wasn't happening

He just beat #4; who was #1

Who else is there? Lara and Vanes? Yawn, two guys who are overrated and fail to live up to the hype when they step up. He could fight Molina, that'd be a good fight, about as decent as a matchup as him fighting Guerrero, so what's the point...and who else, nobody there either? He could give Cotto a rematch since their first one was fun, but he'd get speared for that since Trout beat Cotto, so that's a no-go.

Everyone wants him to jump up two weightclasses to fight Sergio, but now Sergio is out w/ injuries, so that's a no go.

Again, who is there to fight. Once this May fight is finished, we can look forward to May 2014. Maybe Canelo fight will be there, since I doubt Mayweather is fighting in September.

Floyd in his last fight fought at 154! He barely beat Pac's leftover Cotto! After a year of vacation, he should be fighting Canelo or Trout! But instead he's fighting the weakest Welter available in Guerrero!

When Pac was on top he put all the roadblocks he could find to duck Pac! I promised my self not to give Floyd any money till he find the courage to face Pac!

you really convey your points more effectively with the use of the exclamation mark. doesn't make you seem like a kid at all.

No matter who Floyd fights , people will never be satisfied. Keep hatin. And who knows , Floyd isnt the same as before , so Guerrero could pull off the upset.

"leftover" is a boy's term. This is boxing, stop being so disrespectful.

Pac/Mayweather isn't relevant. Pac nearly died last time out, get over it. He's forever going to be known as a leftover; so if I was a Pacfan diehard, I would delete leftover from my vocabulary.

And cong**** on not buying anymore May fights, nobody gives a *****

They have him in front of Pac?
Didn't know beating Aydin and Berto did that
Ring magazine is currently owned by Oscar so it will always favor Golden Boy promotions best interests. Robert being ranked the number 3 behind JMM and Floyd is a joke. Especially when you have Pac and Tim Bradley ranked behind him. Robert has 2 wins in the weight class against gate keepers.
