.........Look, that is beyond a pointless rematch. So much so, that Marquez himself isn't even interested in avenging that loss. He said Mayweather is certainly not part of his future plans.

So should he have fought Pacquiao coming off a KO loss??? No. Canelo, he hadn't done anything legit until Trout, so that wouldn't have made sense for May 4th.

Guerrero is a legit fight against a top ranked Welterweight. Not a big or great win, but a decent one. Let's put it like this....if ANYONE ELSE from 140-147 was fighting Guerrero this week, it would be labeled a great or good fight. And no one can doubt that and still be taken serious.

But this is the thing, Floyd is supposed to be the best in the business, yet sets his sights low. Maybe Floyd cant live up to the pedestal people put him on and cant live up to peoples expectations.

Pac lives up to peoples expectations regulary, fightig JMM, Bradley and JMM back to back. Guerrero has only beaten Berto who is of any note recently, so Bradley was on paper better than Guerrero. Guerrero may be good enough to fight Floyd, but he wasnt good enough for Pac, Pac wanted tougher challenges.
Floyd fights less than Pac so needs to up the quality of his opponents, otherwise he is dropping way, way below what Pac is producing.

I don't have a problem with this. I suppose its a fresh matchup instead of re-treads. Its not the most ideal fight, but hey, it is what it is. If people are upset with Mayweather fights, stop ordering the PPV.

Like any business, he only cares about the bottom line. If a million plus are buying, then why fight Pac/Canelo/Martinez or whoever else ppl want him to fight now. Once he does 600k buys, then you'll get the fights you want.

But in the WW division, nobody to fight. He already beat up JMM, the natural version, the Memo version won't do anything different. He isn't fighting Malignaggi, or Brook or god forbid Alexander. So its whatevs
