Why not mention that under Roach Khan fought Maidana, Peterson, and Garcia.

I'm not a big fan of Roach, but Roach offensive style would fit well with Zab since he is a fighter who fights in explosive bursts.

They hate anything that's even remotely related to Pacquiao.

Roach wouldn't have done sh-t

The best I could see Roach doing is influencing good match making like he did for Khan in 2009 and Pacquiao in 2010-2011. If Roach was Zab's coach we wouldn't have gotten fights like Judah-Paris, Judah-Matthysse, Judah-Garcia.

Khan - Maidana/Garcia were definitely not easy or handpicked fights for him.

I think Roach can only really work will with guys that have fast feet/hands. His method of defense is using feet and movement to get out of the way of shots/minimizing their power.

Judah fits that mould, though I think Judah probably needed Roach from the start of his career. Roach needs a specific type of fighter to really succeed, ones that are extremely athletic, which is why when Roachs fighters get older they don't have the type of defense needed to perform consistently at the top level.

As an offensive trainer though, he is the best in the world bar none.
