Poor Zab, if only he trained with Roach

I thought he gave one of his best performance tonight because he had a rep for quitting but took Dannys best shots and fired back strong at the end. Was screaming for Judah to finish him but Judah didn't push hard enough.

I think if he would of somehow got with Roach much earlier in his career he would be more conditioned and been a much better combination puncher. Hes fast good defensively but he loses fight because hes not busy enough and I think an offensive minded coach like Roach and sparring with prime Pacqiuao would have been good for him. And maybe roach might have never met Khan and he stays overseas! :weed5:

Hes had a respectable career though. He won titles had some good moments and anybody thats step into the career and has had that long of career deserves some respect for the balls it takes to step in their to begin with.

I thought he could have finished Garcia when he had him hurt but I don't think he realised just how hurt Danny was and failed to capitalise.

I was also screaming "Finish him!"

Danny was hurt. A couple more good punches he would have went down. Fatigue probably played a role, but he was still hurt.

            Roach wouldn't have done sh-t

The best I could see Roach doing is influencing good match making like he did for Khan in 2009 and Pacquiao in 2010-2011. If Roach was Zab's coach we wouldn't have gotten fights like Judah-Paris, Judah-Matthysse, Judah-Garcia.

I agree with you on this, Zab would have fit well with Roach and his highly offensive explosive spurt style, Zab has faster hands than Manny Pacquiao and if he used that in and out style with those flurries from the side step bouncing side to side and coming back in with combos he would have been a beast.

If you noticed Zab likes to hit guys when they try to reset that is exactly what Pacquiao does in his prime he never gave you a chance to reset he would attack.

Linares tried to use this style but he didn;t have the pop, Zab has the speed, the pop and foot work to do it, but he tries to be a cutey and stays stagnant. He can blitz fools when he actually does take advantage of his hand speed, just watch what he did to that Cosme Rivera cat and that native American boxer he took those guys out and was knocking them down at will I think Zab could have really hurt Danny, Danny was wide open and throwing a slow ass wide hook and would even pull it back to throw another one leaving his face open for a straight left down the middle.

Zab looked good in just the last 3 round, only because Garcia looked gassed and severely slowed down. People always give Zab some kind of credit for looking good in 25% of a fight and getting beat up the rest of the time.

I thought Zab lost 8-4 and there was another close round I forgot which one. 7-5 Garcia wouldn't exactly be a stretch. But the KD and Zab dancing around a couple of times makes the fight looks a lot worse than it really is. I think people are giving him more credit for not folding mentally plus the late rally. Any other fighter, like a Mexican fighter, would have been labeled a warrior by majority of fans.
