I wouldn't really call that situation an undercard since he will still be the main event at Cowboys Stadium and will still generate a big gate.

It remains to be seen though. I still have my doubts of Mayweather fighting in September.
I think they did something like this for when he fought Gomez on the Ortiz fight.
Still though, Canelo said he'd fight on the under card if Floyd guaranteed a fight in September, which he did. Isn't that the reason he doesn't want to fight there anymore?

They could be trying to pull a fake out and hope Bob Arum pulls out from there completely
(mayweather says he's fighting there while they build a 14 event, keeping Bob from promoting his)
    Conspiracy theory

      Just saw this.
If Mayweather really does fight on this day, why the hell would Showtime shoot themselves in the foot?
Isn't this bad for GBP too, because if Floyd does fight, it's against a GBP boy
Are you dumb? This is obvious plan b if mayweather doesn't fight on that date

This makes me hate boxing sometimes. Its like when they fed a shot to **** Mosley to Canelo. I hate the whole "The new guard has to retire the old guard" mentality. It's ****ing ****** and chicken****. All it is is trying to make a name for yourself off the backs of men who were great in their day, but are faded men.

It just means Floyd is not fighting in September. Clear as saran wrap.

It's funny how the WBC has been having a tournament since 2011 to figure out Canelo's mandatory, and Cotto can lose two fights in a row and get a crack at Canelo's WBA belt.

If it wasn't for Cotto staying in there against Floyd more people would see what I see. I like Cotto a whole hell of a lot more than Canelo, but at this point Canelo folds him up and EARLY. Cotto isn't who he used to be. The only reason he looked good against Floyd was the size difference and because Floyd isn't who he used to be either. This will be a beating. Bookmark it man. Tell me I'm wrong after the fight.
