If you think that Mayweather vs Cotto is the worse Mayweather's fight so you don't know nothing about Mayweather.
Anyway, you can compare other two fights, the "worse" Rigo's fight (vs Cordoba) and the good victory of Mayweather vs De La Hoya.
Any way I insist: Rigo receives a lot less than Mayweather, watch all the videos that you want.
I also add: Rigo has a lot more power, on both hands, than Mayweather.
Because Nonito was his only credible opponent, and he dominated. That is his best performance. Not some domination he did against a bum.

And Floyd vs Oscar was also a fight where Floyd got touched. But Floyd was horrible against Cotto. Im gonna compare Floyd vs JMM to Rigo vs Donaire. Those are both fighter's best performances.

And I think that Rigo has less power than Floyd. Rigo dropped some bums. But he couldnt really hurt Nonito who was his only elite opponent. Floyd has been able to hurt a bevy of elite fighters.

do people realise moving and not throwing(being in full defense mode) is just taking less risks?

would people consider roy jones vs toney or mayweather vs corrales an outclassing and pure domination if they just ran and landed 1 punch per round?
i think it shows alot more skill and it's more of an outclassing if you stick in there and beat the crap out of the guy which is so clearly out of your league

the cubans have a good amateur style though, hurtado was beating the crap outta whitaker for about 6 rd's until he ran empty on the gas tank, basically using the same style rigo uses except rigo isn't as big a fan of combos in the pros(AM's their styles were identical)

rigo is highly skilled, but not as good as mayweather
money may...Jones nd toney don't continously turn their backs to avoid...even the ref reminded rigo to not do so...nd cuban boxing u claim? casamayor...stevenson...felix...lara...nd who Eva else I missed...dnt fight that way...running...yea he has good defense...but he jogs nd turns his back often as well..

I'm not going to break down everything, but defense I give Edge to Floyd. Floyd when on the inside, can dictate what the other fighter does. He protected himself when they're on the break. He'll either slip out under the way, or he'll distance himself by using his arm. Rigo just tries to move back and is more vulnerable to get caught with a punch.
