You don't know how Cotto fights?

i dont know man, i think cotto obviously isnt what he used to be, and canelo is better than i thought he was, was quite impressed with the way he fought trout. but yeah, that would be a good fight and im not sure who to pick to be honest.

I could also see Cotto winning a UD, but I don't think he can hold up against Canelo. If the fight is in Texas again, no way Cotto wins without a KO/TKO.

Exactly what I was thinking in the bold. I was originally going to say I'd like to see Lara fight him untill I checked ESPN and saw that he was going to fight Angulo already. They are ranked lower by ESPN than Cotto but it would be more competitive

Cotto should push for his native NY or at the very least Vegas.

I wouldn't feel secure fighting a Mexican in Texas if I was a RIcan

Dude, stfu. Oh I predicted a fight wrong? Wow, because nobody on here ever does that ****.

I'd rather predict a fight wrong once and awhile than admit I don't know how Miguel Cotto fights.

                      Exactly.......

Cotto is one of my favorite of his time BUT this is a whole different situation and time. I agree with everything you said here. Canelo is too big, too strong, too quick, and kind of too smart at this stage. There is no way Cotto goes to the 12th round. Oscar has made a huge impression on the kid from the beginning, Oscar is his idol. Not only that, Oscar actually spars with him and shows him how to cope with different styles in the ring. That is a deadly combination. Mayweather is smart as well. He's always been a good match-maker himself. There is a reason he didn't sign to fight Canelo in September like there is a reason he'll fight certain fighters who call him out, versus let's say Manny Pacquiao. There was something about Manny's style that Floyd didn't like. But he'll fight Hatton, Marquez, Oritz, Mosley, and now The Ghost? Smh.
