I'd pick Canelo. If Cotto boxed the same way he fought Margo in fight one and two he may have a shot because he has power, timing and a reasonable jab. He should try to outbox Canelo by jabbing and moving.

Exactly. It was almost a done deal before they agreed with Trout.

They will posture like they want the Mayweather fight, all the while negotiating with Cotto. It's really a win win. Canelo makes a good penny, gets a win against a good name and Mayweather continues to age.

Can't say that I blame them, but let's keep it real. I see exactly what GBP is doing. It's what Arum did with Pacquiao, but this time I truly believe Golden Boy wants the Mayweather fight, just not yet.
