A few years back it was almost common knowledge on BoxingScene that Lara was robbed (Most of which hadn't even seen the fight)

Only later did it change around.

That's not the way I remember it at all, Dan. I remember people always saying Molina was robbed. (Feels like we're in the classic Japanese film, Ras****n," if you're familiar. lol) It was simply an ugly, hard to score fight. No clear winner. Sure, one guy might've objectively won by a point; but no one deserved to win.

Most guys of any note thought the fight was extremely close. It's pathetically predictable who thinks Molina was robbed.

You might have it mixed up, the consensus was Molina should have gotten the victory. I'd like to see a rematch, Molina isn't a dangerous puncher so Lara should definitely try to mix it up with him in the rematch.

A draw was fair. It was ugly, forgettable fight and neither guy looked great.


Both fighters are currently title holders and its only right that ShowTime pick up a unification fight between the two to determine the true king of the 154 pound division.
