True. I think if there was an Alexander-Molina fight, I'd literally do a clinch count.

Well it is true that molina was coming from a two years layoff, but did you know that he never left the ring while sparring all the time? Also did you know that three days prior to the fight Lara had a tooth infection and the fight was almost cancel and he couldn't train properly do to Shields been with Rigondeaux for his fight against casey? On top of that he didn't know if he was going to fight or not because his first opponent withdraw from the contest...

In rounds, I scored it 7-3 in Lara's favour. Molina made it look a close fight with his pathetic tactics though.

          Round 1: Molina
          Round 2: Lara
          Round 3: Molina
Round 4: Lara [Very close round]
          Round 5: Lara
Round 6: Lara ["Not a good round for Lara"...Lol Molina didn't do sh-t but take lefts all round long and then do a little cheap flurry at the bell]
          Round 7: Molina
          Round 8: Molina
          Round 9: Lara
          Round 10: Lara

I could however, see how round 4 could be given to Molina and make the fight a Draw. This fight could have gone either way. All you fool saying Molina was robbed need to stop lying to yourselves. It was a sloppy fight and rounds 8-10 Molina did absolutely nothing but hug Lara. The problem in round 8 was that Lara did even less.

A rematch is needed NOW. This fight was either a Draw, or 1 point for either guy. If you had Molina winning by 1 point, that's cool, I have no problem. It's those guys talking about "robbery" and "Molina clearly won" that piss me off.
I had Molina by a point and a draw at the most for Lara. So by your standards that makes me an idiot. Didn't know that you were the authority of boxing

Seems to me that you both in agreement, one point for either one...

Close fight, could have gone either way.

I think the "Molina clearly won" comes from the people who haven't seen the fight that assume that it was Lara that was robbed which simply isn't the case so because of that people tend to lean on Molina for winning.

This has got to be one of the most debated decisions on Boxingscene. It wasn't even an important fight. I'm not certain, but I think I had Molina by one point. I know I remember thinking a draw was fair. It was an ugly fight, with neither man being the clear winner. Like Kev said, a draw, or a one point victory for either guy, is reasonable. These dudes that go around saying Molina was robbed don't know what they're talking about.

I hope Landy and Carlos rematch, so we can put this unending debate to rest.

A few years back it was almost common knowledge on BoxingScene that Lara was robbed (Most of which hadn't even seen the fight)

Only later did it change around.
