IMO you can't win a fight by one or two more power shots, a lot of rounds Trout was out boxing Canelo, making him look silly and tagging him with good shots. Canelo would rally late on but it shouldn't be enough for him to take the round.
Like I said if trout was all class and made no excuses why cant you? Pretty obvious that your opinion isn't shared by many people. No major boxing source is saying the fight was a robbery so yeah I don't see any scoring controversy and power shots do win you the round when you stagger and hurt your opponent. This is boxing not dancing with the stars!!!

I scored it for Trout by 1 point. I think the reason why Trout didn't complain in the postfight interview is that it his personality. He just made probably his best payday and his management probably promised him another big payday so he doesn't want to be loud.

Trout did throw more but u have to remember most of them he would only land one shot i thought canelo won by 2 rounds which was close but i dont think it was canelos best performance besides trouy beats and one else at 154 guy imo would give mayweather a fit but it just shows how good canelo could behe really needs a solid strenght and conditioning coach besides that in a,perfect world this fight should have been a ppv

Had Canelo up by 1 going into da 9th but Trout by a round in the end. Saul however knowing he was well up on two cards going into the 9th fought differently so giving Trout any round after the 9th and then saying he won isn't really a valid argument since Saul knew all he had to do was survive and he would win.

Canelo won that fight comfortably. He was never uncomfortable in there, never looked in trouble, didn't get shaken up by anything, dodged the majority of what could have been meaningful punches by Trout. Trout just showed up to jab, you don't win fights like that.

I had Trout winning the fight myself. He controled the pace of the fight while controling most the rounds. He threw and landed more punches while staying more active through each round. Canelo seemed to lay low throughout most rounds then land 2 or 3 shots then back to laying low again. Im not going to give canelo rounds just for fighting for a total of 30 seconds of them. IMO he didnt do enough to win this fight. Most here act like that was an easy score which I totally disagree with.

                    This.

The open scoring skewed the results towards trout as Canelo gave up rounds after the 8th when he knew all he had to do was survive to win the fight.
