Did open scoring hurt the Canelo Trout fight?

Destroyed the fight at least for me as a fan. I thought Canelo was ahead in a very close fight, with maybe the KD being the difference, and where the last rounds were going to be decisive, and then I hear that Canelo is winning 80-71 and 78-73 and I knew the fight was effectively over.Comment

I don't like that at all it tells us who's winning the fight before the fight is over.
I didn't even get to watch the fight last night Because my Comcast guide had the fight for 10:00 and it didn't even come on at all.
I had to watch it today in the mourning. I didn't like the scores being announced at the end of the 8th round. It kinda took the suspense of the fight at the end.Comment

There will be no open scoring in the May/ Canelo fight. Canelo knew he was ahead on the score cards and cruised to his win. Trout knew he was behind and couldnt win by KO so he just lived through it.
It wont be like that in the fight with Floyd. Canelo dont want it to go to the cards.Comment

Trout hurt himself with that petty offense of his, opening scoring should have helped him because he was never going to win being that inaccurate/ punching too far out of range. What kills me most is that he says he should have boxed more
