Did open scoring hurt the Canelo Trout fight?

Without question. There is absolutely no doubt that the fight would have been much different if neither knew the scores. Alvarez spent much of the fight coasting because he knew he had a bull**** lead, maybe he would have been more aggressive and gotten a stoppage. Trout had to fight more aggressively than he would prefer to, maybe he would have boxed safely and effectively.

It would have been completely different.

For me as a fan, it made me less into it. We was hype as fck then when we realized Trout needed a KO to win, I was like its not gonna happen for him so he basically lost before the fight was over. I hate open scoring.

hearing the commentary had me worried, when i saw the cards i was relieved they had the right guy winning

It killed the 12th round Canelo knew all he has to do was survive and barely did anything to win the last round because he knew he had the fight in the bag and did not need to win the last round.

Hes an Okay fighter. But the level of respect people were hyping him up to be was insane for beating a shot Cotto! Come on...Cotto has done been through Margarito Pacquiao and Mayweather. And got a gift against Clottey.
Trout should have lived up to his word and let it all go in the end. He didnt because he knew Canelo would fight back and land a hell shot to put him out!

Or you know Canelo running around the ring stopped him a bit too.
Once they said the scores Canelo did nothing becausehe knew he already won from some ****riding judges lol
