He would take Canelo to school no problem. But as soon as he does, people like you will say: "Well he wasn't that good anyway. ***** Mayweather will never fight Bradley". and so it goes.
exactly I remember people use to say hatton will get Floyd on the ropes and tko him via body shot

then after Floyd beat hatton, they called Ricky a bum lmao

Yea it just makes no sense. They are looking at Floyd just because of who he is and his record, never mind the weight. lol. It's ridiculous. Floyd is still a little man by any account. Canelo is not a little man and he's not even done growing. I'm no Floyd, but I have fought guys in the streets that outweighed me by even 15 pounds and trust me when I tell you it would be hell going 12 rounds with that amount of difference in weight. You get tired very quickly, as you feel the weight in the punches, and your punches are absorbed and walked through. These people constantly calling for Canelo vs Floyd have never fought a fight like that in their life..

I was never impressed by Trout, he does not have perfect execution or power, is open to counters as evidenced v Cotto. 154 is a fair joke. However Canelo is too strong overall for all at that weight and handles jumped up welters too. He has such strong defense and his reflex and head movement were great too. Yes he needs Floyd but Floyd does not want a strong 154lber if he still makes 147 and hasn't faced a dangerous fighter in their prime or at higheweight since Oscar and Corrales. In my opinion maybe it should be Floyd's last test. Canelo needs Martinez and Chavez Jr, no doubt about it.

(that's a lotta wises lol).

3rdly, with that being said, If I'm Mayweather, bring on Canelo because this will be an easy, HUGE, MEGA payday for Floyd, and GoldenBoy as well.

Last night, Oscar spoke at great length about how to unlock the "Mayweather Code" with the jab. Grant it, ODLH did have great success with his jab for the 1st half of the fight until Floyd adjusted and ODLH gassed out. The problem with ODLH advice is that Canelo's jab is not great.

Last night Canelo was having difficulty closing the gap/distance and landing the jab consistantly because Trout was creating distance with his decent footwork and decent circling skills. Not one notable time did Canelo trap Trout and **** out his body like he did against lesser opponents. So, how in the HELL can ODLH and/or Canelo expect to be a challenge for Floyd?

Answer: Canelo is not a challenge for Floyd.

Ortiz was very dangerous and in his prime when him and Floyd fought. He also weighed 165 pounds. People forget.

The old adage "pick on somebody your own size" comes to mind. Gingerbread boy will never fight someone bigger than he is.

Floyd can definitely outbox Canelo but Canelo would for sure pose a threat with his size and power, if floyds legs really don't have it in them anymore to move nimbly for 12 rounds, he is in trouble because while he can out box Canelo even with using less movement and going to the ropes, being in front of a guy with 15-20 lbs on you for 12 rounds is very very tiring and Canelo has good timing and combinations as well as solid power so this could shape up as a really interesting fight, have to see how Floyd looks against Guerrero.
