Theres 2 schools of thought. Its either Floyd takes the kids soul, or canelo is too big for Floyd and too good for Floyd to dare take the challenge?

So if Floyd is too good, yet dont fight canelo, it means he is ducking canelo. If on the other hand Floyd wont fight Canelo as canelo is too big and good, then Floyd is ducking Canelo again.

Whatever way you look at it, if the fight dont happen it is cos Floyd is ducking once again. No fighter in history has ducked like Floyd does.

I think Canelo fights Lara next, after he trashes Angulo.

This^^^^^. I noticed that as well, by the 5th he was gassed. The 6th, it was extremely apparent. Trout was gassed by then, too. He spent a lot landing a bunch of hard shots at the end of the 6th, but he seemed to be turning the tide in his favor; imposing his size on Canelo--which is why I was surprised when he got dropped to start the 7th. He put in solid work up to that point.

All I could think during the fight was what would it be like if Kirkland could take Canelo's punches in the first 2-3 rounds? Or if Angulo could have fought Canelo before Kirkland broke him in Mexico. Or if Lara could get a shot and take him into deep water.

I actually think we learned more about where Trout is at after the fight.

A bit disappointed that he gassed, this was a coming out party for him and I thought the first 5 rounds he was near perfect but then by the 6th round he was visibly tired which surprises me, so based on that I can't see him beating Mayweather unless Mayweather looks really old against Guerrero.

Who are we kidding, Mayweather would never fight Canelo. He only fought Cotto after Pacquiao knocked him out.

after last night...I can see that fighting being like Mayweather-Hoya....with Floyd just landing more and often....nothing tells me he'd lose....maybe May 5th I'll think different

I wonder if Floyd could hurt Canelo to be honest. Canelo probably wouldn't gas as easy fighting Floyd because Floyd likes to fight at a slow pace.

The key to fighting Canelo is making him respect your power. If you don't do that, ANY fighter at 154 will have a problem with him.

the ginger's weak stamina is something Floyd could exploit

His defense is better than Floyds too. He moves his head reallly good. Like Tyson did! and when he hits....its HARD! Floyd wont fight this kid. At all!
