Fans that refuse to admit that Trout lost simply don't want to believe it and it's always difficult to open the eyes of people who are in denial. Even Trout admits his own loss.

Seems like this is the new trend in boxing..when the guy you want to win doesn't its a conspiracy, a coverup, etc. Listen I disagree with the scorecards they were way too wide but the right man won. At this point i'm starting to feel like Canelo could K.O. Floyd, Martinez, etc and folks would still find a reason to deny him his credit. (I'm not saying he can or will i'm speaking hypothetically before ya'll get all emotional) Half the arguments people made prior to the fight about why Trout would win were disproven. Canelo has no movement..wrong. Canelo isn't elusive..wrong. Canelo can't handle pressure..Wrong. Canelo can't counter punch..Wrong. Canelo can't make adjustments..Wrong. Trout counted on certain things to win this fight for him and he was doing them for the first couple of rounds but didn't expect Canelo to be capable of countering the way he started to or even be able to make him expend a ton of energy punching air. The fact is Trout and his trainers grossly understimated the kids skills like so many others on here...why because he's not shown them before..hell I was surprised as hell at some points. Also Alvarez is 22 not really even in his prime yet, i've never ever ever seen a fighter his age come under the same amount of scrutiny. Hell Broner has fought a bunch of smaller men but he gets nowhere near the level of hate this kid gets.

You commented in every post fight Canelo thread with anti-Canelo comments Relax yourself, it was a close fight. You're just in love with the idea of mexican fighter getting a gifted fight in Texas. Of course it wasn't a shutdown fight in favor of Canelo but you have to admit, he showed new skills he stepped up to the plate and fought smart changed his style for Trout, show some respect. Canelo made Trout fight at Canelo's pace, Canelo landed when he wanted rested when he wanted and whenever Trout decided to bombard him with shots he bobbed and weaved.. Show some respect for boxing, and relax your ovaries it was a great fight

Trout didn't make any excuses so neither should the rest of you. Canelo beat a top 154LB'er convincingly so give the man his due and proper. Hope he continues fighting the top guys at 154.
