Trout knew he could not hurt Canelo..he knew he wasn't going to knock the kid out..the two clear hard shots he bothered to land did nothing but make the kid come back on him. I'm sorry but Trout messed up, could he have won? Yes..why didn't he? You can come up with a million theories..mine..he didn't work the body enough and missed 71% of his shots..end of story.

You keep mentioning this 71% miss rate, but you know that equates to a 29% connect rate? That's not an inaccurate fight, from what I've seen that's about average

C'mon man I'm not Mexican and it was an easy fight to score for Canelo. If you were scoring for the fighter who created a nice breeze on a summer eve swinging for the fences then Trout all day. I've never seen an elite boxer eat as many jabs as Canelo did in this fight. Trout was hitting him with triple scooby snack jabs and all Canelo would do was rest on the ropes and throw wild uppercuts that missed more than hit.

All I can say is Canelo should thank his lucky stars that he was not fighting someone with power, the kid moved his head well but was open for huge shots through out the fight. Golovkin should fight Canelo at 154,he would annihilate him I guarantee it. I had the fight much closer than the moron Texas judges.
