I wasnt all that impressed by Fury. He got the job done but the way he KOed Cunningham was not fair, holding him with the left against the ropes and then following with the right. I dont think it takes a Klitschko to beat Fury, Kubrat should also beat him. This fight Fury won only because his huge weight and size advantage. And he got knocked down by a guy who wasnt a big puncher even at cruiserweight. They should not rush things with Fury, hes just 24 years old. And it hopefully was a lesson for Fury to never underestimate an opponent even if he seems to be a light hitting cruiserweight. I think he can get better but if he really fights Pulev in his verry next fight he will lose.Comment

I'd say that Fury came here to establish himself as a rising heavyweight. He got the win, got the IBF ranking, but I don't think he showed himself to be a dominant force, yet.Comment

People mentioning the size difference are just gutted fury won hes much better then he showed tonight he was impatient and paid the price, Hes one of the biggest heavyweights in the world and the majority are smaller then him, no one forced Cunningham to be a heavyweight he knew what he was getting into, if you want to act like a heavyweight then fight a big ass heavyweight and don't make excuses that your too small if that's the case get your midget ass back down some divisions
Fury struggled because of Cunningham's hand speed and movement but he isn't going to come across that every fight in the heavyweight division is he. For instance a fight with Vitali would be ideal for fury Vitali is a great fighter but he doesn't posses hand speed and he isn't the best mover in the world.Comment

Am I the only one who didn't think Fury was hurt at all by that punch (probably buzzed a bit, I mean it did land flush) and that it humbled him more than anything else as he was fighting like a bad Roy Jones impersonator (bigger, slower, and less stylish).
The commentators made out like he was in a total crisis when really he just got caught straight up with his feet square and hence it was like pushing over a standing log.
After that he changed his gameplan up, cut out the hands down bull****, and became a pressure fighter (!!!!) giving Cunningham no room to breath until he wilted.
Generally he looked a bit ungainly but isn't that to be expected of a 6'9" fighter who is trying to mix it up? What would y'all prefer? He fights like a robot Klitshcko?
That fight was entertaining as hell. The singing perhaps we can do without though.Comment
