Its a matter of discipline. Fury dropped his hands. He needs to stick to a game plan and gradually break down his opponent, rather than go for the one-punch KO.

My only fear is that he's not smart enough to do that.

Fury doesn't seem like a very smart boxer even after he got dropped he was going toe to toe, he was lucky Steve was a smaller guy and got tired from all the leaning, although throughout the fight Fury always looked vulnerable

You watch someone like Haye and you can see him thinking in the ring, very ring smart, Lewis was similar

Fury looks like he has poor ring iq, he needs to sort himself out quick otherwise he is heading for a big loss

How does Fury go from the performance he put on against Johnson to this. He looked like an amateur at times tonight, he was open for that overhand right all night and if a CW can put him on his arse like that imagine what Wlad would do to him.

Gosh, I was imagining Wlad devouring Fury within like 3 rounds. I actually think Wlad would have to carry him a few rds to help the fans get their money's worth but all Fury's taking pre-fight would likely lead to a eary early KO.

I just watched this fight. With proper officiating, Fury should've been disqualified. I sort of liked Fury before this fight, and this isn't a case of me being butt hurt. That was absurd. The "knockout" alone was a foul, he landed a forearm strike, which spun Cunningham's head around, and followed it with the right. I didn't know that forearm-righthand was a legitimate boxing combo. That alone arguably deserved a DQ.

Nazeem Richardson basically nailed it. He's a big man who wins fights because of his size and as soon as you hit him he has a problem.

                Not really

Big men who win bcos size = Michael grant, julius long, tye fields,

The good small men are able to beat these guys , even like Robert Heleniusgot schooled by chisora, as soon as they fight better than journeyman level opponents they lose, guys like Adamek, Cunningham, Johnson, Chisora, feed on these guys because they are just big, slow and clumsy

But they can't beat Fury, so I think it's a bit more than just size, yes. If he had no skills he would have lost to Johnson, Chisora or Cunningham.

He has skills, but he is wild and undisciplined I grant you

Please give it up Earl, your boy is average, keep him away from a real heavyweight with power, hes a knockout waiting to happen

I will bet you all my points that the fat pig hennessey keeps him away from Pulev-who would destroy him

                    very simple. quality of opponent.
                    still consider fury 2nd tier.

Pulev? I'd probably put money that Arreola would KO him. Yes, Pulev would destroy him though, quite obviously indeed.
