He can leave after the first fight without any financial penalties, only after the first fight. I'll look for a source.

I will be very surprised if Mayweather-Guerrero does more than 1 million buys. Poor undercard, mediocore bout, and bad promotion leading to the bout.

Also there will be so many fights leading up to May 4 that there might be boxing burn out. Not to mention that NBA and NHL playoffs will likely be competing with the early part of the broadcast.

My guess is that it will do about 800-900K buys. Remember Mayweather-Hatton did about 900,000 buys.

Before.....I maintained this fight would do 1.0-1.15 million PPV's. If it does 1 million or more, that's nothing short of a miracle considering Guerrero's low level of popularity.

But now....I'm think this could do a Pacquiao-Clottey number around 750K

That's funny. Some people just have a voice for stuff like that, and some don't. Before this All Access, I never in a million years would have thought a network could pick up Common to narrate.

The funny thing is I actually enjoyed the 2nd episode more than the first, the end was cool and had me a little pumped for it.

True man - the whole promotion has been awkward to me. The only other stuff I've seen are about two billboards, not sure if that means anything lol. HAven't heard as much as I do in the streets or from co-workers either, but some promotions go overboard in the final week. I guess I'll just gauge by how the crowds in vegas look. 64k is Youtube video levels

This whole promotion has just felt rushed and hurried, negotiating the network deal took long and has the hurt the promotion. Fully promoted and done right, 1 Million would be attainable. Now, I doubt it breaks that mark.

I really hope Showtime gets the PPV numbers they want for this May fight. I am really pulling for Showtime here, it's time for a new big dog in the Boxing network game.

I am so tired of HBO bias bull shiet, it's time for a changing of the guard.

WTF are you talking about? Showtime has put on some huge fights. They put on Lennox Lewis vs Tyson, which is bigger than any fight Floyd will take until the end of his career. That fight was featured on sportcenter every night for weeks leading up to it. The NBA re arranged its playoff schedule for it.
Has nothing to do with Showtime not being ready. Its a **** fight featuring a guy in Floyd who has been doing the same act since 2007 and a guy in Guerrero who nobady outside of hardcore boxing fans could pick out of a lineup.
