I don't disagree with you though. Sometimes I think Iole pulls numbers from his ass. Though I would call him a UFC stooge before I'd ever call him a GB or TR stooge.

i actually liked the second episode more than the first, and generally speaking it was a solid episode. the ending was cool.

Floyd hasn't had any new material for a while, but even HBO can get people to watch.
it was pac-mosley 360 series on CBS but only at like 9am on Saturday (and later on Showtime). Kids are up watching cartoons, but who's up that early watching pacquiao-mosley. And I think that did awful numbers as well.

I think the mayweather-guerrero all access is on Wednesdays or at least this last one was, on showtime. I'm not sure if it's on CBS.

one question about the mayweather-cotto episode 2 numbers, was it after or before a replay or live airing of a fight? That usually adds to the numbers. Like if episode 3 for mayweather-guerrero was to air on Saturday night, it should do considerably better numbers with Alvarez-Trout coming on before or after the episode.

That shows us how bad boxing promoters are at negotiating, or more likely, that they don't have a clue about how TV time slots work. Seriously who willingly puts their shows on a Saturday night? Who willingly accepts a 9AM timeslot? Even Duva seems to think the slot she has on NBC boxing is really good when in fact it's a throwaway slot. I thought the big numbers for Adamek vs SS might give her some ammo to get a better slot, but no it gets moved to a 1 PM slot instead. Hardly anyone watches TV at that time. It's such an irrelevant timeslot TV ratings sites don't even bother listing it.

                It was Mosley??? my bad.

The fact you're on a boxing website and you don't know when the episodes are, shows how badly Showtime and CBS are distributing this to the boxing fans.

No need to worry. They have CBS Sports (!!!) in their back-pocket where they can pull massive ratings of 20k viewers for hype shows (half of which are probably just channel surfing).

I don't understand why CBS is putting out such a lame promotional effort. It's probably because they can't afford too after paying Floyd all that guaranteed money.

As far as promoting outside of TV, I've seen one billboard for this fight in the LA area, down the 5 freeway. What's odd is it's one of the only billboards down the stretch that doesn't have lights at night so it can't even be seen, can only be seen in the day.
