The one answer that I truly hate is "I'm a Floyd Mayweather or Jose Luis Castillo fans and so and so won the fight" answer.

Just be real with your opinion on a fight. Fighters work too hard for you to give a p**** opinion on boxing. I would never score a fight biased or because this guy fought a certain way against the fighter that I like or picked. All you have to do is be real. Posters will respect that.

Posters hate that I talk back to clowns who **** on Marquez, Broner, Floyd or any boxer. You won't ever see me score a fight that a fighter didn't win though-ever!.

**** what goes on outside the ring with fighters. I only care about what happens in the ring.

Floyd is susceptible to a variety of punches. See Corley, Judah, Mosely, and even Cotto. (Sorry, never saw the Castillo fights but I'm guessing the first one was "close.") It's usually in the first few rounds. Unfortunately, he adjusts better than the competition. Alot of people underrate his offense because he is so defensive. His offense keep people at bay and his defense gets him easy decisions. You don't need a high KO percentage when you're deadly accurate and you rarely get hit.

Yep no one has the blueprint on how to beat the great Mayweather and no one has the blueprint to solve the Mayweather defense for 12 rounds

Castillo's dog must've eaten his "How To Beat Floyd" blueprint 'cause Jose Luis lost the rematch by a country mile.

I think his style coupled with floyds injury made the fight very close. But you knw that there are certain posters who have never seen the fight and just repeat what they read because hey-its anti floyd. Bojangles isnt one of those posters.

In the end they rematched and floyd won 10 or 11 rounds. So in a nutshell floyd fought the best LW in the world in his 1st fight at the weight-a fighter this site has as one of the 25 best champions ever at the weight-won (or lost)a very close fight than dominated in the rematch.

SO lets say floyd is 42-1. He would argue he won the Castillo fight and was robbed. So would he change his "no blueprint" mantra? Of course not. Does it make him not a 1st ballot HOF'er? No. Would it make writers/media not vote him p4p#1? I doubt it but maybe?

It really isn't a big deal Frank. Let them have it.
Mayweather did not win 10 or 11 rounds in the rematch. The rematch was very similar to the first fight through the first 9 rounds, and Mayweather took over in the championship rounds for the clear 9-3 or 8-4 win.

One of the biggest misconceptions about a fight on this site, that Mayweather whitewashed Castillo in the rematch.
