Of course he can. Not sure if he will but he can. Maybe a nice Trilogy from the two?
If he had an Idea of what to do other than follow and left hook spam maybe he could get somewhere. I barely seen him use his riht hand the whole fight while Rigo lit himup with everything lol

Rigondeaux was just a half step a head the whole night, and he will a half step ahead every time they fight.

That half step a head makes all the difference in a game of milliseconds and inches.

The thing Rigo showed is that when you step it up against him, he steps right up with you, and does it better and harder.

Donaire was making adjustments, but when Rigo would see the adjustments, he would make and adjustment to make Donaires adjustment no long work.

Like when Donaire started throwing that right hand low and to the side to walk Rigo into it when he slipped, it worked twice, then Rigo changed to that low step out to the right slip he was doing.

I honestly don't think any other fighter in the world would have performed as well as donaire did.
I don't agree, I felt Donaire did absolutely nothing nor did he try to adjust, I guess you could make a case for the 10th round where he actually tried to load up and really tag Rigo but after that he went back and did the same thing he did all night.

Rigo's power/movement/speed took Donaire totally out of element.

Watch the way he changes up his feights, watch the way he changes up the rhythem of his punches, the timing, the angle. He was playing chess with Rigo, and he was playing well, but he lots comprehensively.

Donaire has a punchers chance but that chance is very slim. If Rigondeaux got freak injury in the fight like Tyson did with his knee when he fought Danny Williams he could lose. But the chances of him havng that kind of luck is very slim. IMO nobody in or around Rigondeaux's weight class beats him. He is a very very good boxer and it was very obvious to me the Donaire only had a puncher's chance in the first fight.

I really don't want to rewatch it but since you've mention it I'll go back and watch it.

From the entire fight, Rigo had control not one round did I see Donaire in control. Rigo's like water, so fluid he saw all the cracks and filled it with crisp movement, speed, accuracy I just wonder what's next for him.

Donaire is a great fighter so it's possible he could win a rematch. I voted no he would not win a rematch. He knew this was a hard, important fight so I think he was in top condition and worked hard on a battle plan. He did not say a word about weight making problems and shoulder problems until after the fight. If he made changes next fight then Rigo would adjust to those changes and still win in my opinion.

                Hell no.

All he has to offer in this fight is a good left hook, which Rigo took away from him with ease. onaire had nothing for Rigo. It would be another one-sided lesson.

Depends on Donaire's performance in future bouts. He very likely will want to avenge the loss on a high note.

I'm sure fans will be clamouring for another shot at Rigo if Donaire continues to blast through opponents with impunity.

How he does against comp similar to Rigo will be the determining factor.

But a move up in weight will keep them apart for who knows how long.

Roy Jones Jr noted one tactical error in Donaire's game plan - he said Donaire neglected to throw the lead right hand regularly which is one way to approach a southpaw opponent. Whether it was Rigo's defense or Donaire's ill-preparation we don't know for sure.

Do you believe Donaire when he says he wasn't feeling 100% going into the fight? If you don't believe that then could Donaire switch tactics to secure a victory? Or is Rigondeaux too good for any version of Donaire?
Well i do believe rigo has just a better style .. But i wanna see a rematch .. It could be one of those "going back to drawing board kinda thing for donaire" maybe..

i honestly see no point in a rematch thats how bad rigo schooled him thats just the honest truth. i see no way donaire wins a match he has nothing more then a punchers chance. no one punch knockout no win period
