  • If anyone from 140-147 fights these guys, (Alexander, Garcia-Judah winner, Guerrero, Bradley, Peterson-Matthysse winner), it's a good fight.

    Floyd fights them...........cherry picking.

The standards Floyd is held too, no fighter in the history of the sport has been held to the same.

wtf are you talking about lol. A name in tr? no there is none, and this is not a good fight and will do terrible numbers. Like i said if pac was smart, he would leave uncle bob and fight a GBP fighter. He doesnt need arum at this point. Alvarado is not good. There will plenty of gbp guys ready for october that are better than mike

Disagree on Berto....he just got smashed by Guerrero. At least Alvarado won his last fight.
not impossible we all know GBP would step aside and toprank would sole promote the event

But Pacquiao has these wins at Welterweight......

De La Hoya, Cotto, Clottey, Mosley, Marquez, and Bradley.

Oscar hadn't been there in 8-9 years.....not a good win, but it was his superstar moment, can't blame him for taking that fight.

Cotto was #3 at 147, good win. Not prime, but still good.

Clottey was #5 at 147, coming off a tough loss to Cotto, still a top ranked Welterweight though. Solid win.

Mosley was coming off a dominating loss to Floyd and a draw with Mora, not a good win. Pacquiao could have fought Mosley in 2009-early 2010 when it was still legit and didn't. His fault. He also could have fought Berto when he was undefeated, which would have been a solid win, but fought Shane instead.

Marquez....well we know he's good at 147 now because he arguably beat Manny there and KO'd him there. But going into the 3rd fight, the only time he'd been there he was whupped by Floyd.

Bradley, a solid and good win, what should have been. Very comparable to Hatton for Floyd. #1 140 fighter, Top 10 P4P, unbeaten. Good win, should have been.
So nobody he missed right! Floyd Ducks and he's fought 2 of Pac's sparring Partners & 1 Pac leftover! And Vacation in between!

True....but still. The only time in recent memory that has happened was Vanes/Lara, which was ordered by the WBC. That's the only way something will ever happen.

More important than who is when. Only 3 of those fights were good fights going in.

but you would agree they all are better then Alvarado

or even wait until Guerrero losses and do another "I could beat him worse the Floyd did" type of fight
