No they booed nonito the champion and top 5 pfp fighter who most people showed up for but managed to throw less punches, land less punches at a 23% rate while rigo threw more, landed more and connected at a 33% rate. Nonito lost 11 rounds and was completely outclassed.

It's amazing how deceptive your mind can be when your eyes show you something you don't want to see.
Rigondo might have landed more and it was a brilliant display of running and pot shotting, but you gotta admit it was boring as hell.

No doubt, bro. I remember overhearing this young Filipino chick saying, as we were walking out of the venue, "I don't know how they can award the fight to that guy. He didn't do anything." lol

I'm sure there were many more ignorant fans like her in attendance. People like this have no clue how boxing matches are scored. They only know how to cheer for their countryman. If their boy happens to lose by anything other than KO, they simply can't understand it because they don't know the rules.

The mind... its a powerful thing. Just crazy what the mind is capable of. And I'm not talking about just boxing.

It wasn't boring to me. Nor was it boring to a lot of other people. Was it exciting the way a ring war is? No, of course not. It was entertaining in the way it's entertaining to watch a master craftsman at work. But in order to appreciate that, your understanding of the activity has to be on the high side.

I don't know if you know anything about baseball, but a "pitcher's duel" is prized by purists. It's a low scoring game, usually 1-0 or thereabouts. Many people find that boring, but it's baseball on a high level. High scoring games typically mean poor pitching, and/or, poor defense.

Your preference is a matter of taste, but because you prefer it doesn't necessarily make it high-quality.
