Liston & Tyson joint top for me.
Young versions of Duran & Foreman next.
          .....Then in no particular order......
Nigel Benn, especially pre Watson (even us in the crowd fed off his demeanour)
          Marvin Hagler
          Stanley Ketchel
          Jack Dempsey
          Khaosai Galaxy
          Tommy Hearns
          beautiful pick!

I would replace Holmes with Jack Johnson.

Foreman lower than Liston? Foreman before Ali to me was the baddest man on the planet. Maybe his renewed teddy bear look hurt has hurt his bad-guy image!

I thought about Joe Frazier, but he was too nice outside of the ring.
What do you have against Aaron Pryor being there? That stare of his before the first bell was pretty intense.

                People were scared of him.

I did think of Langford and Benn, but they seem to be rolling around on a lot of those lists. So just made one with my own picks.

But they could certainly be there.

Good list, and I'd agree with most of it especially the top 3.

I'd consider putting Valero in the list as well, the phycotic look on his face when he went to work and devastating power must have scared the 5hit out of his opponents.

I also think Pac, Floyd, and prime RJJ were pretty intimidating in a slightly different way.
