At around the time he fought Ortiz, I thought Maidana was one scary dude. It's not always the guys who can hit who intimidate, it's the guys who get badly hurt, and decide they're gonna keep coming after you win or lose, live or die.

The Top 10 most intimidating fighters of all times is very personal because we all perceive fighters differently. I find/found these fighters to be intimidating for their opponents in the ring, and most of them would definitely make my Top Ten.

I just think their styles and personalities don't lend themselves to being intimidating.

EDIT: Nigel Benn, Gerald McCllelan were both scary dudes, Benn's autobiography goes a bit deeper, his service in the army and his entire attitude were scary.
