Why am I bashing them? They present themselves as gentlemen. That's not particularly intimidating to me.

As said, they are very good boxers and are very big, but the whole package isn't frightening in the same sense as some others. Just my opinion you are welcome to elaborate on why you think they should be up there.

As for your comments about Tyson, these fighters had the mentality of a bully. You know what happens when someone stands up to a bully.

          LOL! I'd be scared too..

With regards to fighters today I'll have to agree with GGG and Matthysse.

          Tyson is very intimidating.

add boxers with a rep for killing/maiming people, Max Baer and Nigel Benn spring to mind. Benn is actually quite scary just to hear talking today lol don't know how he makes it as a preacher.

              hehe.

They aren't intimidating but one relevance they do bring to this thread is that the Ks are intimidated scared ****less by men half their size (MW Chris Byrd) or old guys who are retiring (Corrie Sanders).

They are the inverse of being intimidating, the Ks - they are the elephants who get scared of mice.

That was Tyson against Peter McNeeley.

Wasn't around for Liston, but I've heard stories about him.

To me, in his prime, Iron Mike.

I suppose there's various forms of intimidation. Holyfield was intimidating in that his belief in his religion (helping him) was so strong that it did give him extra strength. But for me this thread is about bad/scary guys.

Liston & Tyson joint top for me.
Young versions of Duran & Foreman next.
                      .....Then in no particular order......
Nigel Benn, especially pre Watson (even us in the crowd fed off his demeanour)
                      Marvin Hagler
                      Stanley Ketchel
                      Jack Dempsey
                      Khaosai Galaxy
                      Tommy Hearns
