I don't think Mayweather or any active mexican fighter has ever beaten a fighter as good as Donaire in their resume ( except Marquez K.Oing Pacquiao against 2 defeats and a draw )
I bet you think Mayweather is the top P4P champ. and if someone asks you what is the best win in his resume you will say ( Corrales O.o ) hahahahahahaha

You are pathetic , Rigo did something very huge at his 12th pro fight . something rare , something unique , it is the biggest achievement in 2013 already , and it will stay like this till the end of the year ( except Alvarez beating Mayweather by K.O )

It was a great win, and he deserves all the credit in the world. Personally it's better than all of the fans listening to Nonito's pathetic excuses and instead we realize the best man won.

          Sort of like Chavez did?

This is boxing good wins are what its all about. People celebrate a championship their sports team won a decade ago, but a boxing fan can't celebrate for a week.

Donaire to Rigo is what Pacquiao was to Floyd...

this is the best fighter or match up on paper that Rigo will have for his whole career

Donaire has been dominating top fighters for the past 6 years and was highly rated on the p4p rankings with his round dominance, ring generalship and devastating power he has... this guy was knocking out the best in his division...

Name another fighter in any weight class thats been knocking out top ten fighters back to back... super middleweight?light heavyweight?middleweight?welterweight?

nah none of those weights have a dangerous guy like Donaire

commentators were comparing Donaire to Roy jones with his cat like reflexes and devastating leaping power including Roy Jones himself

What Rigo has done will never been done ever again... coming off an amazing amatuer career to fight for a world title in his 7th fight and then unify the division in his 12th fight by dominating a hihgly regarded p4p contender in Donaire.... I don't care who you are if you never had Donaire in your top 10 p4p before this fight you're a liar

Who else has dominated a p4p ranked fighter recently??? Ward over a weight drained Dawson?MArquez getting brutalised and landing a lucky counter punch???Mayweather in a competitive fight with Cotto?

I don't see how yall are bringing up Rigo so ****in high. As if now beating Donaire was the test you had to pass to be the GOAT. When so many claimed Donaire wasn't all that.

Rigo fought lame-o competition(and don't bring up Donaire's competition this isn't about him) before Donaire.

I don't see how he's held up so high after ONE great showing, I like Rigo honestly, especially after the Donaire fight, I enjoy masterful display, but Rigo needs to follow up and dare to be great against someone who as well, dares to be great.
Rigondeaux outclassed an arguably top 5 P4P fighter, after only having 11 pro fights, and you don't see what the big deal is? are you braindead? I think you need to get your head examined, as you're clearly not being reasonable here. something tells me you're upset by the way the fight turned out, join the club.. there are a lot of people on this forum that are butt hurt that Donaire was taken to boxing school.

Now, Rigo beats said opponent on a near shutout and all of a sudden all these Floyd fans jump out to try and diminish Rigo's win.
By a lot, do you mean less than 5%?

Because outside of a very small few, no one was saying that.

                    Gatti? No.

                    Barrera? Of course.

Barrera is an ATG who was in his prime. Leagues above Donaire.
