You can't really compare their speed since they aren't even close to fighting at the same weight class. It's common knowledge that the fighter who weighs more tends to punch slower while the fighter who weighs less tends to punch faster.

Watch them both relative to their competition. Rigo's timing, and reflexes are off the charts. Floyd as well, but just a hair slower. Plus, Rigo's defense is more advanced than Floyd's.

He doesn't allow a fighter to smother him, and doesn't use his elbows, arms, and gloves to block the majority of the time. He uses his superior footwork, and angles. You rush him, and he's already slipped out the way, and angled off to your side, and lands a left hand.

Rigo's stuff is more advanced.
