Rigo stood in the middle of the ring in the early rounds. Donaire could barely touch him. When he did, Guillermo smacked him in the snotbox so hard Nonito would back right the fuck off. Why do you think it took so long for Donaire to even attempt to push the fight? He felt that power and toned it right down. Nonito even makes reference to that in this otherwise silly interview. Donaire didn't really try to exert himself until the late rounds, when it was already too late. He was on the verge of getting KOed himself in the final round.
