Floyd out boxed Oscar De La Hoya easily.. Once it hit the 4th round Oscar was not even able to keep up anymore and Floyd went to work as a surgeon. Oscar had the size advantage in that fight and still couldn't touch Floyd. If you scored the fight correctly it would not have been close or suppose to be a split decision at all.
I bet you were once a pacquiao fan..
the fact that a fat blob like oscar touched up a prime floyd is disgusting, lol, floyds dad even cried for floyd after the fight, split decision, lol, Wow, floyd shoulda won all 12 rounds vs a fat overweight grandpa but he fought pathetically for a guy this so called skillful
Todays boxing fan is the worst fan of them all. Even Rigondeaux can win a poll over Floyd, lmao. First it was Pacquiaos **** riding fans, now its Rigos fans and a bunch of their alts and other accounts along with ex Pacquiao and Margarito fans.
Yesterday performance was shoking, Donaire is a special fighter he is top notch Knocking err body! and Rigondeaux schooled him.
In my opinion Rigondeaux is the best boxer of my lifetime not Mayweather.
What do you guys think?
Gotta go with Money May. As much as I like Rigondeaux... what Mayweather did to Marquez, which was considered the best, was pretty embarrassing. I even have a nickname for JMM: 'La Tecnica'
Debates about how Cuban amateur stars would fare among the elites at the pro level have been going on for years. Does Teofilo Stevenson vs. Ali ring a bell?
Rigondeaux is 32 years old. We're seeing an older version of what many claim to be the greatest amateur fighter of all time. Imagine what his reflexes and speed were like at 24? How many world titles would he have won and where would he rank pound for pound?
The Donaire fight was real life evidence that we can now point to and start to wonder how other Cuban fighters in past years would have done if they had the luxury of having their careers babied at a young age and the opportunity to slowly progress through the pro system. It's one fight but its a much bigger deal than a lot of you are making it out to be.
Many credible people in the boxing world have said that he is one of the most skilled fighters they have ever seen. Are there statements ridiculous too?
I'm not saying he's going to become a hall of famer or an ATG. But debates like this are fair game because of the circumstances that Cuban fighters face.
