I have Mayweather 1 because he's still beating good and top ranked fighters, and even though Marquez beat Pacquiao......he got utterly dominated when he fought Mayweather. He didn't win a round in the real world, and it's not like Mayweather has lost since. Since Marquez he's beaten Mosley (#3 P4P), Ortiz (#2 147), and Cotto (#1 154). And is fighting Guerrero (#3 147).
The level if expectation for Floyd is higher than it's been for anyone. The guy fights and beats top ranked fighters, and gets s**t......anyone else in the game could fight the same exact people and would get high high high praise universally.
And even though Ward is without question one of the top 1-3 fighters in the world.....he can't overtake Floyd for beating an obviously drained Dawson. Had he gone up to 175 and won the lineal title there, and beaten Dawson up there, I would probably have moved Ward to 1.Last edited by 4Corners; 04-14-2013, 11:49 PM.Comment

How do people have Ward over Marquez when JMM just knocked the #2 P4P fighter unconscious? Sure Ward won the super 6 and Dawson. But none of them of pacman and Dawson was drained.
