    All excuses.

he doesn't deserve respect for the way he trained and fought is what i am saying.

he thought he could just go in there and ko him instead of putting in work.

donaire fell in love with his power and forgot skill and training.

Wouldn't be surprised if Donaire wins a title in the next division they will probably rematch. Wouldn't mind it because their isn't many guys out there except Mares.

Donaire gets respect for taking the fight.

Donaire never backs away from a challenge and he will come back but just take the loss like a man and move on.

That's what I was saying all last week too. Donaire kept talking like he was gonna blast Rigo out and that he didn't think Rigo was that good until he saw some film of him and started to doubt himself.

He never complained about weight before this fight and had never mentioned a shoulder injury until that interview that I'm aware of. I even saw footage of him training and he was punching mitts or something like a madman and quite a few posters were saying stuff like "I feel sorry for Rigo", "Donaire is going to end Rigo's career".....RIGONdeaux...........seemed like a pretty healthy shoulder in that footage.

froch fighting pascal, taylor, dirrell, ward, abraham and bute were all fights people actually wanted to see because they were intriguing fights at the time where as vasquez, mathebula and arce were not
there were 3 names that people said donaire needed to face before moving up to 126 and those names were Nishioka, Rigondeaux and Mares...donaire fought 2 of the 3 names since mares negotiations fell apart and he decided to move up to 126 (and i still think the donaire vs mares fight can happen at 126)

vazquez jr was a former WBO champ, only 1 loss and still ranked in the top ten of the division
mathebula was the IBF world champ at 122 and arguably beat the former top dog of the division (caballero)..
Nishioka was ranked #1 at 122 and the real WBC champ, and a veteran in the division
Rigondeaux ranked #1 at 122 WBA super champ

and Arce was just the cherry on the top..and had beaten teh undefeated Vazquez jr for his belt not too long ago...

donaire fought 4 guys ranked in the top ten of the division in a little over a year (2 current world champs and 2 former world champs).....two of those guys being ranked #1 at the time donaire fought them...so doesn't donaire get some or a little respect for trying to clean out a division in just a little over a years time?

Giving props for getting over a million dollars to fight a boxer with 11 fights? No thanks.
