I hope that Donaire will come back stronger and wiser from this experience.
    This is spot on.

the one who landed more maybe the difference with landed punch was 4

rigo won but it wasnt schooling
I agree to the extent that some people here are going cookoo bananas over Rigo claiming he destroyed donaire, schooled him, dominated him etc. truth is in a techincal fight Rigo edged the rounds while fighting on the back foot and making Donaire miss. He made donaire fight his fight and imo did enough to edge the majority of the rounds. It wasn't a destruction or even dominant i.e. it wasn't mayweather v gatti or anything. But it was certainly decisive - I had rigo winning comfortably enough even with the knockdown.

I could understand you saying it wasn't a beat down but it was definitely a clinic.
So mayweather did the same thing 100x more impressively.... but hes terrible right? Rigo put on an amazing performance and earned my respect, but nsb is going way overboard with this. He has to keep up the performance and it's not like he's a young kid. People hype up his amateur career when it suits them, and downplays it when it doesn't. Which is it Rigo is the greatest amateur of all time or he's just a pro with 12 fights... I guess that depends on how it fits the argument...

making them miss is a big part of schooling someone. its called defense and its a cornerstone quality in a boxer as its very difficult to beat a fighter you cant hit.

pretending like rigo wasnt landing shots of his own is childish because we all know he did. no it wasnt too many but thats because he was focused more on landing quality punches than landing a quantity of punches.

the punches he did land would have knocked out almost any fighter even a few weights up, you have to give credit to donaire for being able to soak up so much punishment.

again, it wasnt lots of punches. but they were hard, crisp, clean shots usually landed as donaire was coming in adding further impact to the blows. the fight was slow because donaire after a while wasnt willing to to throw punches himself out of fear of being countered.

to do that to a p4p fighter, to shut his offense down to the point where he doesnt even want to punch while you yourself is landing clean shots at will while controling the ring, the distance and the pace easily. that indeed is schooling him.

              define schooling pls.

if i were to define it, the winner shoulve won at least 10 rounds or 118-110

It was a fight 'clearly' won by the correct winning fighter.

Guillermo Rigondeaux was facing a very dangerous puncher in Nonito Donaire; So he couldn't risk fighting flat-footed and exchanging more than one or two punches with him at a time, for fear of being hurt or stopped himself. So he did what many smart boxers typically do against huge punchers/sluggers and that was to potshot him and move out of harm's way before getting countered with a big punch himself.

Dude I wanted Donaire to win and everything, but he got schooled ..Plain and simple..Rigo's footwork was crazy, and had Donaire resetting all night..Sorry but Donaire got a boxing lesson..Donaire will have to be in prime shape if they have a rematch..Rigo's is the far(far!!!)better boxer..Donaire will need to apply all out pressure..Even then it might not be enough, with only 11 wins under his belt, this was very impressive from Rigo..Now 12 wins..

Wasn't a bad schooling, but for sure Donaire was afraid to exchange with Guillermo. He out sped and out footworked him and turned the fight to a chess match. Both fighters are great but Guillermo was a lot better than Nonito on the 13th April.
