I do think if he meets someone who aint scared to get hit and has some pop he gets knocked out but top rank has no one like that over there so he safe.....

    For now!
i doubt it and i thought you and a bunch of the other warrior power beats all mentality posters said that donaire would not be scared to get hit because donaire had a great chin and were talking about how hard donaire hits so he was going to kill rigo

the one who landed more maybe the difference with landed punch was 4

rigo won but it wasnt schooling
finally the truth...rigo won...but wasn't impressive so ppl shoud stop treating him like some p4p hero...he didn't even wanna fight...I was thankful that donaire tried to make a fight out of it...rigos main defense is turning his back...in the 9th the ref even warned him for doing do

Check the compubox stats. Donaire was the one who was close to landing 1-2 punches a round. There were rounds where Rigondeaux was landing double digits while Donaire was landing 4-5 punches, all meaningless.

Rigo took centre ring & controlled the fight, he threw more punches, he landed nearly twice what Donaire did and had him running for his life in the 12th.

I love how people such as yourself put the blame solo on one fighter.

Donaire could of cut the ring off (if only he knew how to), he could of let his hands go more, he could of threw combinations instead of loading up on single powershots.

Rigo just pot shot Donaire and then move. He shut down Nonito by not allowing him to set. IMO one of the reasons Donaire lower punch output than usual. I'd also have to agree that in the few exchanges that happened Rigo was getting the better of Donaire.

I hope that Donaire will come back stronger and wiser from this experience.

It is not just about hitting the opponent, he made Donaire ineffective. As much as people are trying to slate Rigondeaux for not making it a fight he out threw an out landed his opponent.
