  • So much for Rigondeaux only having a left hand

F***ing right hook was beastly tonight, buzzed Nonito multiple times

I noticed! I don't know how many people he can KO with it, but it will keep his opponents honest.

Not only that he uses that right to measure distance perfectly. Rigo should be fighting more often, needs to put in the work before he retires undefeated. The Cuban legend has begun

His jab as well, certainly wasn't used as just a feint tonight.

I feel he has answered all his critics.

He is for real and here to stay and frankly I can't see anybody coming close to derailing him anytime soon.

          Noticed that too.

Lot of posters here must feel silly calling him a one handed fighter prior to the fight.

Absolutely. He had changed a lot for this fight. He was able to completely neutralise the left hook, and he had a great right hand. Amazing fight.

I was saying before it that I thought Donaire would win because of his (rigo) right hand, unless he changed it. Well he sure changed it! Incredible.

It was nice how he would paw/jab with the right and go straight into the right hook.

Why? I don't feel silly at all and I certainly called him that. Before this fight he didn't have a right hand. Clearly he worked like **** on it and he made great use of it.

However, anyone saying that was right because he didn't have a right hand before this.

I disagree he has always had a sharp accurate right hook. The second half of the Cordoba fight when he was moving a lot he consistently caught Cordoba with right hooks coming in. His jab has never been strong though but as a southpaw its probably more out of choice so he can lure counters.
