I don't think Ward has more talent than Rigondeaux, while he I agree on him being more versatile.Lol@Rigo having more talent than Ward or the fact that he has more tools. Rigo has the same game he's always had. It's really ****ing good, but Ward can beat you with almost any style. He's always adapting, always bringing in new angles and techniques that his opposition can't prepare for. Ward is one of the best fighters we've seen in a long time, he's that special. Rigo is just a damn good counter puncher with tremendous speed and specialized skills.
As far as pure boxing skills go, I'd give Rigondeaux the edge.
Ward on the other hand has a very high ring iq, along with a rare ability to be good at almost everything he does. He can fight inside, outside, box , fight 'dirty' if needed.
That said, p4p wise I think Rigo deserves to be among the best 5, but not first. Not yet at least, he is 32 and will probably want to make other big fights as soon as possible.Comment

I think Rigondeaux still needs a few more quality fighters on his resume before you can put him in a bracket with the very elite P4P fighters. Skill-wise, he is very much in that bracket but he needs the wins to go with his ability.
Donaire is a fantastic win and puts him easily in the top 10 P4P, possibly top 5, but Kennedy and Marroquin are not good enough to compare with Froch, Kessler and Dawson on Ward's resume.
I'd love to see Rigondeaux fight the winner of Mares - Ponce de Leon. If he schools either of them the way he schooled Donaire, then there would be a far better argument for him being mentioned alongside Ward, Martinez, Mayweather etc.Comment

Why, that's a FW bout? Unless Mares comes back down I don't want Rigo moving up to fight any of them.I think Rigondeaux still needs a few more quality fighters on his resume before you can put him in a bracket with the very elite P4P fighters.
