It's hard to split the two. I prefer Rigod though. In the p4p I'd have Ward above since he's fought more top guys at 168

lol I remember seeing a Donaire is #1 p4p thread a few days ago but I thought it was a joke. I'd rank him around like 5 or 6 so I don't see how a case for Rigo being number 1 could even be made compared to the others accomplishments.

The board goes full ****** everytime someone has a great showing. Seriously Ward cleans out an entire division and Rigondeaux supplants him with one great win?

Who said anything of the sort?

I simply said I don't recall a better 12 fight start to a career. Even though he came to the pro's with his tag of 'best amateur of all time' there were lots of people saying it meant nothing in the pro's...clearly it does. In 12 fights he's a unified world champ and top 5 P4P fighter.

Like it or not the "Yank" Ward still has the better resume. Rigo belongs in the top 5 P4P though.

Yeah man, it was indeed a great win by Rigo, but lets not go all overboard.

Lol@Rigo having more talent than Ward or the fact that he has more tools. Rigo has the same game he's always had. It's really ****ing good, but Ward can beat you with almost any style. He's always adapting, always bringing in new angles and techniques that his opposition can't prepare for. Ward is one of the best fighters we've seen in a long time, he's that special. Rigo is just a damn good counter puncher with tremendous speed and specialized skills.

Not really. Probably second. Agree he's better than Ward though if we are talking about ability but not in p4p terms. Mayweather (though ageing) is a better boxer. Rigondeaux is kind of like a poor mans Mayweather that punches harder. Mayweather lands more and gets hit less against better competition but doesn't hit quite as hard.
