style per style and p4p, i think ward can handle rigo. i have yet to see rigo fight in the pocket, which is not necessary ofcourse, but ward would clinch him and neutralize his footwork. rabbit punches etc. ward can neutralize any style. i cant say yet about rigo.

He'll need to move up sooner or later. There's nothing there for Rigondeaux at SBW. At a push, only a unification bout with Romero or Moreno moving up should keep him in his current weight class. FW is where it's at if Rigo wants the best fights he can get.

I think simply dominating 122 for the rest of his career isn't a bad move.

Man Rigondeux's skill level is ABSURD! Great talent

I knew he was quality but last night he really surprised me, i thought Nonito would get to him at some point and finish it but he didnt even come close, the knockdown was legit but even then it was more a case of Rigo being square on after the clinch and he wasn't hurt. Rigo is now clearly in the mix for the p4p top spot, i think i would simply give him Donaire's spot (my own rankings anyway) at #3 behind Floyd and Ward. Donaire had a bad night at the office and will be back, he's still in my top 10

            Good points made.

Rigo boasts a 388-12 amateur record and the title of 'best amateur ever' and in the space of 12 pro fights he is a unified world champion and top 5 P4P fighter.

I do believe he is more skilled than Ward (who I also think is fantastic), but Ward's resume is better....however, he is in a division that allows for a better resume so it's hard to say.
