Yeah, and if he wins PEDerson's IBF title, he is no longer Garcia's mandatory. And let me guess; once a new, softer mandatory is declared, it's going to be all "Garcia has to fight his mandatory and then Khan"

Not saying Garcia is ducking anyone, I'm saying GBP is just doing the usual promoter BS.

I remember that happening about half a year after Khan got knocked out by Garcia.
You have short term memory then, because I remember those were the first few reactionary threads after the KO.

Just like when anyone wins, you get a bunch of threads debating who their next opponent should be. It was unanimously Matthysse.

Your definition of beating ass is different than mine, that was a close fight that Khan cloud have done a better job in if he played to minimize his mistakes and even with that could have won if points not got deducted that normally do not.

People knew Hatton was fairly limited before that also~ and to me he actually did a good job with a pretty good fighter in Collazo given his skill set.

Hatton didn't have much success in either fight~ and it doesn't you brought up that.

GBP doesn't want Matthysse anywhere near this kid. They're finally forced to somehow make the fight possible, but Matthysse has to go through a very hard guy like Pederson. They're wishing that Pederson takes something out of Matthysse, and softens him up a little.

People wanted him to fight Matthysse because that would be a heck of a fight~ not because they thought he would wreck Garcia.

I remember people being all over the Garcia bandwagon at that point.

Hatton actually had MUCH more success in the Floyd fight if I recall. Hatton couldn't even land a single punch on Pacquiao, and BARELY made it out of round 1.

Obviously because it was a great fight, but people that were already on the Matthysse bandwagon were saying he'd wreck Garcia. You know it.

The only Garcia band wagon members were Puerto Ricans with a new hero, and Khan haters. At the time of course. Now, I'm on the Garcia bandwagon, but I still think Matthysse whoops that ass.

You seem to also forget all the under handed compliments Garcia was getting. "Garcia KTFO out of that dude, but Khan is a *****."

Lucas by KO in a great fight. Think Lamont will give it a go but he's going down.

You seem to also forget the hate he was getting for fighting Morales for a 2nd time, and people were saying he should fight Matthysse.

Picking Matthysse to beat Garcia wasn't a hipster pick. Most posters were picking him to win, even after the Khan KO.

I had Khan winning and he fought a safe type if fight. Think that's why he didn't get the decision. Played it safe while Peterson went for it.
