    2. Home cooking, plain and simple.

    3. He is a stiffer test than anything Garcia had to face, and Garcia's the recognized champ of 140! What are you talking about???
    1) 95% here can;t score their way out of a wet paper sack so I could give two shits about anything like that.

    2) Matthysse had his own two judges his left and right hands, by the way people talk of him that should have been enough. He played it cautious and paid the price~ he was unfortunate and should have won but you have to accept that flaw in his approach.

    3) I don't think so, I would rate him equal to Khan even though he won. Khan fought a piss poor fight (and many though that was home cooking for Peterson if you want to be consistent) that if he approached in a slightly different manner he could have had more success. I did think Peterson edged it though but he certainly did not dominate Khan or prove he was clearly superior.

Garcia wrecked Khan's shit, once again Khan fought a poor fight in my opinion but Garcia did in Khan in a much more impressive fashion~

I wonder what everyone rooting for Pederson have in common.

Garcia would be the betting favorite though~

Also who the betting favorite is has nothing to do with actual chances, it has to do with public perception of chances thus how the money is being played, the bookies then set the odds so money comes in evenly on both sides so they have no risk and take their small fee.

Garcia is more known so the dumb money would be on him, smart money on Matthysse might keep it fairly close to even but dumb money by far outweighs smart money~
I highly, highly doubt Garcia would be the betting favorite, if both fighters beat said opponents. You can't just make a statement like that. I have little doubts, Matthysse would be the betting favorite.

Public perception usually indicates who is the better fighter. People barely know who Matthysse is compared to Garcia. If he was the public's pick, then wouldn't that indicate he's the better fighter? Boxing fans know what's up.

By your standards, Lamont won on the judges scorecards, so all that doesn't matter. Garcia wrecked Khan after Khan got exposed by Pederson. Just like how Floyd fans always say Pacquiao beat up a leftover Hatton. Goes both ways.

            Just look at this thread!

Matthysse is the uncrowned king of 140. Once he beats Pederson it's all but set in stone. He'd undoubtedly be the favorite going into the Garcia fight.

Trust me he will be the betting favorite, I didn't say a huge favorite or the rightful favorite but the -number will be next to Garcia's name.

He is the more known guy and his name has been in lights more often.

The public is full of dumb money who bets with their heart, and the odds don't always reflect reality that is how I am way ahead on betting on boxing. There is more dumb money than there is smart money~

I trust your knowledge on betting, and I respect that, but in knowledgeable fans minds, you know damn well they'd have Matthysse as the favorite.

The smart money would be on Matthysse, I am not denying that and like I said I thought Matthysse would beat Garcia before that was even cool.

Completely winnable fight for Lamont, although i'm rooting for Matthyse.
