Peterson is a good fighter but this is a fight that Matthysse should win.

Pederson beat the hell out of Khan, and exposed him like no one else did before him. Khan's been KO'd before. We knew that was his achilles heel. We also knew Khan wasn't the best infighter, but Lamont thoroughly proved it.

Not to mention, this was the "new and improved" Khan. The one that just dismantled Judah in 6rds. Garcia did something that Prescott already did, so is it REALLY that impressive? Knowing that Garcia is a heavy hitter, with boxing skills, and Pederson is more of a cerebral fighter, with a great inside game.

The point is, don't try and twist it like Pederson's win wasn't significant. You say he barely won, I say he beat Khan like no one has ever beaten him, and that's thoroughly roughed his ass up. Whereas Garcia did something that's been done before.

Of course, this is just to prove a point. I still give Garcia total credit for KO'ing Khan, but I'm not going to marginalize Pederson's win, because it fits my agenda.

What, you serious? I think Lucas will have a very hard time against Lamont. Anything is possible of course but Peterson can fight on the inside, outside, sets things up with the jab and has a great body attack. I'd say he is far from one-dimensional.
