I didn't like what I saw at the weigh in yesterday for Donaire

Donaire never looks great at weigh ins. He doesn't look any different than normal.

It difficult to analyse Nonito because he is alway relax before a fight, he jokes around and seems less fight focus but come fight night he takes you out clean.

it does weaken, you, and it can take a toll on your body, but it also allows you to enter the ring heavy, giving you an advantage which in turn will take a toll on your opponent as he fights off a bigger man.

it's a balance that some of these guys choose to walk. generally, as long as the fighter isn't really taking a lot out of himself to hit the weight 30 + hours earlier, it is an advantage.

5-10 extra lbs in a 122 lb fight can be the difference between a punch an opponent can take, and one he cannot.

I completely understand the reasoning behind it but just seems that if you could keep your weight to within say 2 pounds of your fighting weight, you would be more at your optimal. 4 pounds doesn't seem like a tremendous amount (not like 10-15 pounds) but it just seems like not putting in your all.

Looking at Rios at weigh ins for example is just sickening, it seems to be doing him a disservice as well as his career progresses.

listen brah, these guys are so delusional, the fights donaire won by KO montiel, arce, w/e....these fights ended EARLY and by guys who weren't putting up a fight so people think that doniare is some powerful animal for the full fight!! WRONG!

you have to fully understand that nonito size makes no diffrence because he doesn't make the weight healthy and he's not as strong in the second half of FIGHTS! look at what vazquez did to him in the second half of the fight! look at what matherbula did to him when he went the distance! these guys were very competivite in the second half of the fights because Donaire is not a strong fighter!!! they keep brining up size but donaired is not a HEALTHY fighter at all. Rigo is an abosolute machine that is very dangerous for hte full 12 and will not fade and has a LASER left hand.

Donaire looks lke **** in the second half of fights because of his body and how he makes weight. Rigo has already said he's going to take him into deep water and will drown him and that's what's going ot happen, I'm very confident, Rigo is extremely confident and intelligent, he knows Donaire very well and what will happen.

Donaire very average int he second half ofo fights and he makes mental mistakes down the stretch because of it, he's very ordinary in the second half of fights, I really believe Rigo will stop him in the second half of the fight...truly.

In terms of being ripped and all that, Donaire has probably the worst body out of all elite fighters. But then, he is the only fighter (unless I'm mistaken) who submits to year-round OST testing.
