Way to much victim talk from Schaefer in this interview.

I tell you this boxing business will get the best of anyone. GBP was started to be different(according to themselves). Now they're the same as any other promoter, they have risen to the top no doubt, but now have the same attitude and acts of every other promoter. So in that regard, they have failed from their mission statement, they've fallen inline w/ all the regular acts of all other boxing promoters.

Dana White's alliance with Fox didn't do well in ratings.

Yeah Im pretty sure if gbp does well they will give them normal fox dates. I just think mondays sucks between football and wwe. I think thursdays would be best especially from a live attendance point of view.

Did you read the interview? He said they have the option of changing it to Tuesday nights when there is Monday Night Football.

lol look at this moron trying to defend golden boy

we have seen the contracts, we have seen the evidence, golden boy in their contracts can hide their drug cheats and have been proven to do so. This guy is ruthless for sure, he threatens other promoters to get what he wants, he protects his boxers if they fail drug tests, golden will come begging back to hbo, if only usada had some integrity themselves like vada has who went and reported a golden boy fighters failing their test, this led to golden boy trying to shut them down

the problem is you have idiotic fan boys who support these fools because of their idol

As long as I get the best fights by Showtime working with GBP and HBO with TR thats cool with me. The networks don't have to buy the fights if they don't like the match ups. That's why we are getting these type of 50/50 match ups like Rigondeaux vs Donaire with HBO. Then we have Trout vs Canelo on Showtime back to back weekends.

I'll watch Boxing on Monday as long as they don't show matches like Top Rank put on the Versus channel. I remember watching 4 main events where Tye Fields was fighting against goofy tomato cans.

GBP better bring some good matches down here in South Florida. They signed a deal with BB&T arena to bring cards to South Florida and in a year all we got was Perez vs Forbes smh no Lara, no Mattyse, no maidana where there are a good amount of Cubans and Argentines.
