Since you didn't answer. Haha. I'll go ahead and say stay downtown. One of the other posters mentioned it and I almost forgot. Fiesta in SA is similar to Mardi Gras but instead of 1 week, it's 10 days long.

I was thinking about coming Friday but couldnt really find the right room on either Friday or Saturday so Ill probably just come down early Saturday and leave sometime in the am on Sunday. yeah, Im getting off at the greyhound so I will just stay on foot in the area around the Riverwalk-Alamodome. thats wasup. I might take you up on that. At the same time, I dont think its a bad spot to be on foot. Sometimes you may be on foot in the middle of nowhere and the other times you may be on foot where things are happening and it seems like it'll be ok.

Im going to New York Saturday by bus. They drop me off by the Garden and Ill have to walk like a mile to the arena but so many things are going on and so many people are outside that Id rather be on foot anyways. I might meet someone to eat though so its all good

If you go to the NW side of town, there are many wonderful upscale clubs to party at. San Antonio is a nice town to party. Don't steer him wrong while casting shade on a beautiful city.
