Tell Me About The Alamodome On Foot

going to the Canelo-Trout fight. Was going to get a room but most of the nice places for reasonable rates are booked up. Also trying to save some money to go to other events in a short span so Ill probably just bus down, hangout, and bus back. What is there to do and where is there to go on foot? What is the daylife and nightlife like?

All I pretty much know about is the Riverwalk which is probably still good enough for me. How is the Riverwalk at night though? Can you hangout around there after the fight? Are there places still open?

Also, would you recommend me arrive early Saturday to do things on the Riverwalk and bus back soon after the fight or is it better to get there around 6pm on Saturday, hangout a lil, go to the fight, and then hangout all night and then go home?

Crazy questions I know but Im trying to put all this together before I finalize my plan. One spot I was thinking of going after the fight is Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery. Do you recommend that and are there others near there?

Mi Tierra is the famous spot where everyone goes and its packed as hell but all the fighters/promoters/fans flock there afterwards and its about a good 2 hours for a table wait.

Riverwalk is pretty chill its not like Vegas or anything. Theres a few bars but its mostly like a tourist spot to eat. The bars are pretty weak definitely not as crackin as Austin.

I'd save your money and just eat, cause San Antionio is not really happening party wise. You got to hit Austin for that scene.

If you go to the NW side of town, there are many wonderful upscale clubs to party at. San Antonio is a nice town to party. Don't steer him wrong while casting shade on a beautiful city.

The fight will take place when SA is celebrating Fiesta. When means the carnival will be right there outside of the Alamodome. Downtown will be crazy packed and hard to get around. Parking will be a *****. Wish it would have been before or afyer Fiesta
