Anyone that brings up the Margarito fight is a Boxrec warrior. Do you know how long ago that fight was?Comment

No, I'm showing footage of both fighters at 154 so people can use the footage as reference and compare they're styles. I'm trying to help advance the argument, not trick people into agreeing with me. Do you have a problem with that?Comment

It's funny these guys keep bringing Barker and Macklin, two guys Martinez KO'd at 160 and who won 2-3 rounds tops. Meanwhile, when De La Hoya tried to move up to 160, he technically 'loses' a 116-112/117-111 type decision to a young Felix Sturm and a KO9 against a 40 year old Hopkins who hadn't stopped anyone in two years and who would not stop anyone in his next 14 fights.Comment

Right. People keep bringing up the Macklin/Barker fights up, like that's supposed to mean ****, when he KO'd them. It's funny these guys keep bringing Barker and Macklin, two guys Martinez KO'd at 160 and who won 2-3 rounds tops. Meanwhile, when De La Hoya tried to move up to 160, he technically 'loses' a 116-112/117-111 type decision to a young Felix Sturm and a KO9 against a 40 year old Hopkins who hadn't stopped anyone in two years and who would not stop anyone in his next 14 fights.
And I thought we were discussing them fighting at 154. What does Barker/Macklin have to do with anything?Comment
