If Trout wins, he will be what he is, a very good boxer and champ. The reality is, he won't be viable in the sport the way Canelo is.

Canelo if he wins, will elevate himself to another level in the sport. The naysayers will have nothing to say because Trout is a prime, undefeated champ who is a lagit 154 lb fighter. Canelo already is a money maker and if he beats Trout and then maybe Cotto, he would be what Manny Pacquaio was when he was winning fights and titles. He would bring boxing money, attention and be an international super star which is what boxing needs.
This is true, but my main reason for wanting Canelo to win is because I find him more entertaining, I like what he brings to the ring far more than what Trout brings.

I usually root for the more entertaining fighter. Life is too damn short. And I think Alvarez has more passion. It's his life - boxing. Trout, otoh, comes off as a guy who will escape boxing if given the opportunity.

I'm on the fence because on one hand I want Canelo to win so the Mayweather-Canelo fight happens when they're both undefeated so it's a huge event.

On the other hand, I like Trout and he's so easy to root for and I'd love to see him win.

It's win win for me. I will probably root for Trout on the night but in all honesty I'm happy either way.

I don't really have a rooting interest in this fight..But I feel Trout will win it..But this is one of those fights that no matter the outcome I won't be made with the winner..Both fighters are fun young fighters with bright futures..
